The only thing constant in life is change and Yon-ka Paris, the award-winning phyto-aromatic skincare brand, has launched a new look packaging design that is far more pleasing on the eye and more easily recognisable on the shelf.

I’m a long-time fan of the brand and I really love the new packaging, which I believe really make the products stand out from their competitors. Lots of thought went in to the re-branding; the new leafy design is associated with nature, which stimulates the senses, while the new packaging adopts a set of colour illustrating two white sides representing purity, science and efficiency and two coloured sides representing nature.

There are three new products included in the new launch, along with enhanced formulations for existing daily favourites.

To give you a brief history lesson; in 1954, Cecile, Ernst, and Charles Muhlethaler, who were passionate about aromatherapy, created laboratories Multaler and in turn the Yon-ka brand.  Their research led them to a breakthrough discovery; “Quintessence”, a unique combination of five essential oils from the Mediterranean Basin – lavender, geranium, rosemary, cypress and thyme – that became the key to the future skincare line. In time, they expanded their research to other plants from land and sea, which today add up to over 130 plants from all over the globe.
