As the X Factor extravaganza kicks off in usual spectacular style tonight, an X Factor spokesperson has come forward to confirm that judge Gary Barlow will not be taking his category abroad to a foreign location as usual and will instead be staying at home in the UK to be closer to his family during their difficult time. The Barlow family suffered very recent heartache when wife Dawn gave birth to stillborn baby daughter, Poppy. The spokesperson said; “Due to personal circumstances Gary Barlow won’t be attending the press launch for The X Factor this week but he has been in touch with production to wish everyone well.”
Newly engaged Jessica Biel has spoken of her impending marriage to Justin Timberlake, implying he will be more of a bridezilla than she! Speaking of their plans for the wedding, she said “It’s very exciting – it’s just hard to find the time, honestly! But it’s a good moment just to enjoy it and take it easy.” It seems the stylish actress is not a girl at all, considering she doesn’t have every single detail mapped out! “I have no idea… I am one of those people who is not very detail orientated. I’ll probably give an idea and let it be created. I feel like most of my friends, bless them, always go through some sort of something – one day of bridezilla – so maybe it’s just part of the experience, you just have to do it!” Whatever happens, just DON’T let Justin grow out those golden curls for the nuptials…it WILL end in divorce!
Nicollette Sheridan, one of the stars of Desperate Housewives, took legal action against the franchise, claiming she had been unfairly dismissed following an altercation with the show’s creator Marc Cherry. Well it seems its one nil to the desperados! A California court has ruled Nicollette was not unlawfully terminated when she was killed off the hit series. They did however rule that she could slightly amend her claim, saying her contract was not renewed due to a complaint she filed against Cherry. Considering Sheridan wants $20 million in compensation I’m on the show’s side with this one! Greedy greedy Nicolette, be thankful you’re even getting the magazine space for this story!
Not one to openly talk about her private life (although her private parts she doesn’t mind flashing every once and a while!), if there’s one woman who can get all the juicy details from Rihanna, its Oprah. The eagerly awaited interview between the two women in Ri-ri’s hometown of Barbados will air this weekend on American TV and within it, the topic of Chris Brown pops up. Speaking about her ex, who assaulted her before the Grammy awards in 2009, she said; “I felt like the only person they hate right now is him. It was a weird, confusing space to be in. Because as angry as I was – as angry and hurt and betrayed – I just felt like he made that mistake because he needed help. And who’s going to help him? Nobody’s going to say he needs help, everybody’s going to say he’s a monster, without looking at the source. And I was more concerned about him.” Sobbing during this segment of the interview, Rihanna continued on to say; “It was embarrassing it was humiliating… I lost my best friend.”
