Declan Leavy
Declan began his journo career several years ago at the newly-launched Prudence magazine. After a year with Prudence, Declan took up a position with fashion and lifestyle magazine Social & Personal. In his five years with S&P, Declan held the positions of Men’s Editor and Social Editor and worked on several of the magazine’s fashion pages. In October 2006, Declan was part of the launch team of Social & Personal Living and Social & Personal Weddings magazines. In March 2008 he took over as Editor of Social & Personal Weddings.
Since leaving Social & Personal at the end of 2010, he has contributed to The Irish Times, Irish Tatler Man and Menswear in Ireland magazines. Aside from his writing work, Declan has appeared on several TV and radio shows, including Xpose, Nationwide, Off the Rails and The Afternoon Show, as well as Newstalk, 98FM, Q102, Spin 1038 and 2FM.
Declan loves food, fashion, cosmos, the gym, skincare and pampering and admits to more than just a slight addiction to Jackie Collins novels!
